In this session I just wanted to take the time and introduce the student that I will be working with. The student is 14 years old and happen to be my niece Emma =) . I asked her what she wanted to learn more about in her education and she said she really didn't understand the food web and how its affects us. I let her know that, that is what she and I were going to be focusing on and I created a K-W-L for her and a blog so she can type her own experiences.

Emma's blog is AWESOME! Shows great character. I wish I had my student sign his name after each post. In my student's blog it seemed as if I was the one making the posts because it was under my name. Having Emma sign her name shows how she is taking credit for her work.
